Welcome to Meet Madeline, a fansite dedicated to rising young star "Madeline Carroll".
You may recognize this adorable, uniquely styled star from last year's "Swing Vote", in which she played the lead role of Molly next to on-screen father Kevin Costner. She received worldwide praise for her
fantastic performance and ever since she has been booking like crazy.
You may have spotted her on episodes of "Grey's Anatomy", "Lie To Me" and "Cold Case" to name a few ... and a guest appearance on hit TV show "The Cleaner" is coming up.
Mads also has a huge number of amazing big-screen films coming out this year and in 2010. Having just booked the lead role of Juli Baker in "Flipped", an adaption of Wendelin Van Draanen beautiful novel, she will also star in the upcoming
films "The Spy Next Door", "Astro Boy" and a new indie film called "Cafe".

I have added a few more Madeline facts to the facts page. I haven't really mentioned it on the site yet, but did you know Madeline has a special collection of bracelets for every project she has done? You can see them pretty well on this picture. You can also read the letters on the HQ pictures I posted a few updates below. It's so original and cute =). I think she's going to need to take a few off pretty soon though ... or her arms will be covered to her shoulders!
Also, Madeline being in "Flipped" is pretty big news! The director is Oscar nominated Rob Reiner from "A Few Good Men". Also, Madeline's love interest has been casted. The young man's name is Callan McAuliffe. Congrats to him! They will start shooting June 26.
In "Spy Next Door" news ... the film will be released January 29, 2010. So we're going to have to wait a few more months ... I hope a few promo's or maybe a teaser trailer will show up soon.
Mads attended the premiere of "Imagine That" yesterday, looking absolutely stylish as always ... I'm loving her whole outfit! I haven't found many pictures yet but you can already find around 10 beautiful shots in the gallery.

Madeline Carroll ("Swing Vote") has been cast in the lead role of Rob Reiner's coming-of-age comedy "Flipped" for Castle Rock prods.
East of Doheny topper Kelly Gonda is producing along with Reiner and producing partner Alan Greisman for Castle Rock. Shooting begins June 26 in Michigan with Reiner directing.
"Flipped," based on Wendelin Van Draanen's young-adult novel, centers on the confusing romantic developments of antagonistic boy and girl neighbors who eventually share a kiss when they reach their teens in 1963. Reiner and writer-producer Andy Scheinman ("Bait") wrote the screenplay.
Aidan Quinn and Penelope Ann Miller will play the parents of Carroll's character; John Mahoney will portray the boy's grandfather.
Carroll recently shot indie drama "Cafe" opposite Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy for director Marc Erlbaum and producers Sean Covel, Chris Wyatt and J. Andrew Greenblatt. She'll also be seen in Relativity's "The Spy Next Door" opposite Jackie Chan.

I found a website which features 853 extremely HQ pictures of the recent photoshoot Madeline did. I'm a little overwhelmed by this amazing find. I don't think I'm going to be able to find the time to save them all and put them on the site anywhere near soon but if you want to take a look and save the photos go ahead! Here's the link. Madeline is going to help out next week by drawing a winner for an
organization ran by actor Danny Glover. It's called Political Rap
and they hold bipartisan youth forums for high school seniors and
college students. Their mission is to make sure that young adults are
informed participants in the political process and that they register
to vote.
They are in the middle of a fundraiser on Twitter. They are asking people
to donate $2 to their cause (funds are raised to hold the forums on a
college campus) and for doing so, your name is entered into a drawing
to win in iPod Touch.
Madeline will be drawing the winner for them next Thursday at ZJ
Boarding House in Santa Monica, CA.

It's official! Madeline will star in the new indie hit "Cafe". The movie centers around two characters played by Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy. Madeline appears as part of an ensemble of Philadelphia residents who frequent the local West Philly Grounds coffee shop where Hewitt's character Claire works. Her character name is "Elly". Congrats again on your amazing booking, Madeline!

I've added some new images of Madeline at 2 recent special events. There weren't many pictures taken, I just found them a bit of everywhere online. Her outfits are rockin' ... gosh I love her style! =)

What an update! Mads did an exclusive photoshoot for Wireimage. There are 87 (!) new AMAZING photos in our gallery! I can't get over how beautiful these pictures are, you just have to check them out! She also booked the lead in an upcoming major motion picture yet to be announced. Congrats Mads! This girl is totally going places!

Mads did a photoshoot for Kaiya Eve alongside some of her friends including actress Ryan Newman. Madeline wears a lot of Kaiya Eve clothes on premieres & events, it's such an amazing clothing line!
